CREW CLUB, WHITEHAWK SKYDIVE TO SAVE CLUB.

Thursday 6 May 2010

The Crew Club is facing its toughest time to date and is in danger of having to dramatically reduce services or in the worst case close its doors altogether.

They believe that all young people need somewhere to go which supports their developmental needs and complements their education. This may be their school, home or the local youth centre. Over the last ten years, the Crew Club has built up a thriving safe youth work environment, with trusted staff, for young people aged 7 to 16 years, an accredited education programme for 16 to 19 year olds and a holiday scheme for young people with special needs and disabilities.

Due to the current financial situation all of this work is at risk.

As part of our fundraising strategy 10 members of staff will be doing a skydive from 12,000ft then free-falling at 120mph to 5,000ft.

This will provide you with an opportunity to support the club through JustGiving. If this is something that you would like to do then just click on the following link:

They truly appreciate your support for our work and in doing so many more young people will benefit from the services, projects and activities we provide.
