Does your work involve contact with children either on a one to one basis or within a group?
Want to learn about good working practices within this environment?

This Child Protection Awareness workshop is held in partnership with Musicians Union, and aims to give our members who teach the necessary skills and resources to work safely with children.

This event will cover issues such as:

• Child protection legislation
• Practical advice and good practice within a teaching environment
• Protecting yourself, interacting with children and working with children with
special educational needs
• Recognising an abused child; what to do
• Child protection case studies
