One of the most exciting developing areas in community music is around technology that assists people to access music making in spite of any physical or other challenges that may otherwise create barriers.
From long standing and expensive technologies like Soundbeam, through to simpler DIY solutions using switches and drumpads, emerging technologies around webcams and brand new "toys" like Skoog, there is an expanding range of technologies available to use in creating participatory music making opportunities for people with disabilities.
