World Sacred Music presents...
William Dalrymple Nine Lives tour
with singers Susheela Raman and Paban Das Baul
In his best-selling book ‘Nine Lives’ celebrated writer William Dalrymple sets out to discover how diverse sacred traditions are managing to survive in the new India.
Helping him bring his book to life will be ganja-smoking tantic Baul singers, led by Paban Das Baul, and virtuoso singer Susheela Raman, who has helped to foster an ancient but dying sacred song tradition from the temples of southern India.
Sunday 13 June, 7.30pm at St Andrew’s Church, Waterloo Street.
