Free Dance Workshop For Adults- Every Day Is A Good Dance

Tuesday, 26 April 2011

On Saturday 7 May, 10.30-1pm or 2- 4.30pm there will be a free dance workshop for adults (16+) with the exhibition by John Cage, 'Every Day is a Good Day'. The workshop will be delivered by Gerry Turvey and will be held at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill.

Using themes from the exhibition, Gerry will guide participants in structured improvisation that will encourage creative play through chance, and create spontaneous images and ideas. The workshop will focus on the visual score as well as Cage’s notation for sonic and visual work. This a unique opportunity to create improvised dance inspired by a renowned musician and artist.
