Jamal Ali (18), Lewis Healey (19) and Mrisi Makondo-Wills (17) all come from different backgrounds. But this hasn’t stopped them rapping and performing together.
They want to spread their anti-racist message through rap and have become Fixers to make a music video for their song Racism Out.
We take them to a studio in Soho to give them the opportunity to freestyle in a professional environment. A surprise appearance by rapper Kano inspires the Fixers to aim high. They discuss their music video and breaking down racial boundaries with him.
Watch this broadcast film in the Meridian region on ITV at 6pm on Thursday 27th May 2010.
